American actress, singer and impressionist Christina Bianco is set to wow audiences with her one-woman show – Me, Myself & Everyone Else – which kicks off at the Edinburgh Fringe in August.
After a five-night stint at the Capital’s impressive Ghillie Dhu venue, where she’s sure to go down a storm with Fringe-goers, the popular New Yorker will then tour her new show up and down the county, taking in cities including Glasgow, London and Blackpool.
Broadway and West End performer Bianco shot to stardom as a YouTube sensation with her ‘diva’ impression videos, gaining over 23 million views.
Since then, she ‘s performed on the Ellen Degeneres Show, the Paul O’Grady Show, This Morning and Graham Norton on BBC Radio 2.
Last year, Bianco made her West End debut in the musical theatre satire Forbidden Broadway at the Vaudeville Theatre and she can currently be seen in the US sitcom Impress Me.
Speaking about her forthcoming tour, she says, “After playing in London and Edinburgh, I’m thrilled to finally perform for the rest of Great Britain.
“I’ve been overwhelmed by the amazingly supportive and enthusiastic audiences. I’m especially excited about travelling up and down more of this beautiful country and meeting more of my fans along the way.”
Through her soaring vocals and spot-on impressions, the show will feature Bianco’s biggest ‘fan favourites,’ along with new material celebrating the world’s most iconic vocalists and pop-culture personalities from yesterday and today.
Audiences can expect an exciting selection of pop, standard and Broadway tunes, all delivered in Bianco’s unique voice, as well as in the voices of the great divas themselves.
She will also present her hilarious ‘unlikely interpretations’ that pair a singer and song that you wouldn’t expect. Ever wonder what Shirley Bassey would sound like singing Adele’s ‘Hello?’ Or a soulful duet of ‘Under Pressure’ between Julie Andrews and Christina Aguilera?
Me, Myself & Everyone Else is certain to be unlike any show audiences will have seen before and with hundreds of impressions to choose from and lots of audience participation, each performance brings something new.
From Ariana Grande to Cheryl Cole to Celine Dion, no celebrity is safe.
