Edinburgh songstress Kat Healy has announced her long-awaited new single, Wolf, which is due for release later this month.
To showcase her latest material, Healy will be playing live across the UK and Ireland on a tour that includes a stop off at Edinburgh’s Netherbow Theatre, Scottish Storytelling Centre on September 30. She will wrap up the tour with a hometown gig at the Leith Depot on November 1.
Healy has been described as a combination of well-crafted songs, beautiful voice and delightful stage presence, with a striking ability to take an audience on a heartfelt journey with her music.
She has previously released a full-length album, Be Still Gentle Kind, and an EP, When You Are Gone, which are still garnering rave reviews and have marked her out as a distinctive, stylish performer with a unique vocal ability.
Healy has toured successfully throughout the UK and Europe, and 2015 saw her enjoy a number of high-profile gigs, including some well received private-showcase appearances at Folk Alliance International (Kansas City), performances at New York’s infamous Rockwood Music Hall, and The Empire in Belfast, as well as several performance features on STV, Scotland.
Wolf is available from iTunes and all usual online outlets from 30 September 2016.
