Less than a week after picking up the Godlike Genius gong at the NME Awards, synth-pop superstars Pet Shop Boys visit the Edinburgh Playhouse (Wed 22) on their Super Tour.
Firm favourites in this neck of the woods, the electro-pop pairing of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have always gone down a storm on their visits to the Capital.
Indeed, in 2006, atrocious weather conditions led to the cancellation of the dynamic duo’s attempt to headline Edinburgh’s Hogmanay.
The group returned to take care of “unfinished business” in 2013 – and they were simply sensational.
The Super Tour sees Pet Shop Boys performing songs from their acclaimed new album, Super, as well as classic PSB hits and album tracks from their incredible back catalogue.
Well-kent Edinburgh arts and entertainment commentator Liam Rudden is someone who is never being boring (see what we did there?), expect, perhaps, when he’s banging on about his love for the Pet Shop Boys.
