Musical stars to perform In Tonight… From The West End

Some of the hottest names in show business are set to perform together in the Capital this spring in an all-singing, all-dancing musical extravaganza featuring some of the West End’s best-loved songs

Tonight… From The West End, which pitches up at the Usher Hall for one night only on 25 April, will see vocal coach and former Loose Woman Zoe Tyler  share the stage with musical theatre star and X Factor finalist Ray Quinn.

Joining them will be Scots heartthrob Jai McDowall, a previous winner of Britain’s Got Talent, and New York-based Broadway star Christina Bianco, pictured above, who has taken the world by storm with her remarkable voice.

The producers of the show are also keen to involve local talent to the event. “In the past, we have been successful in finding local performers to join our cast,” says Peter Ferguson, the show’s Edinburgh-based producer. “We will be scouring Scotland once more for the stars of the future and will soon be announcing details of how to audition for the show.”

The song and dance extravaganza will include classic show-stoppers from Broadway and the West End, and is sure to have audiences on their feet.

Music lovers can expect a medley of hits from shows such as The Lion King, Saturday Night Fever, Fame, Wicked, Mamma Mia and Oliver.

Tonight… From The West End, Usher Hall, Lothian Road, Saturday, 25 April, 7.30pm, £27.50-£41.80, 0131-228 1155
