Justin Bieber ‘sued for $100k’ for ‘smashing man’s phone’

Pop star Justin Bieber is reportedly being sued for £69,000 ($100,000) by a man who claims the Sorry hitmaker destroyed his mobile phone in a Texas nightclub.

Robert Earl Morgan has filed a lawsuit against the Canadian chart-topper after the alleged incident took place at club Cle in Houston, Texas.

The club was also the location for Bieber’s recent altercation with Post Malone.

Morgan claims Bieber tried his hand at a beer bong, but spilt the drink all over his face and clothes.

Morgan filmed the incident on his phone, after which Bieber became angry and is said to have grabbed the phone and smashed it, according to TMZ.

The lawsuit claims that Morgan was not given his SIM card back, which contains photos and videos from holidays as well as pictures from his grandmother’s 100th birthday bash.

Morgan also claims the damage has caused him to lose both business contacts and work.

Bieber’s representatives are yet to comment on the story.
