R&B star Craig David will release this year’s official BBC Children in Need single – and you can listen to it right here.
David will perform the chosen song, All We Needed, a stripped-back ballad from his recent No.1 album Following My Intuition, on the BBC’s Children In Need telethon next Friday (November 18).
“This song is extremely personal to me. I’m so proud that it’s the BBC Children in Need single this year,” David said on BBC Radio 2.
All profits from the song will go to the charity, Children In Need has confirmed.
As reported on AAA recently, David will tour the UK next year – including a visit to Glasgow’s SSE Hydro on April 3.
The tour will run throughout March and April of next year, and is the Grammy-nominated British singer’s biggest tour in 15 years.
Speaking about the tour, the 35-year-old said: “I’m beyond excited to announce this tour. It’s been 15 years since I did an arena tour here and I want to enjoy every single second this time around. I don’t take anything for granted and this tour honestly means the world to me.
“I feel so lucky to be able to travel the UK and Ireland and perform tracks off my new album as well as some of my classics and to invite everyone to enjoy the TS5 experience too.
“I have no words for how amazing this year has been for me and I want to thank you all for the incredible love and support you have shown me. I can’t wait to see you on tour!”
David will be touring in support of his forthcoming new album, Following My Intuition, which is due to be released on September 30.
