Listen to Led Zeppelin’s previously unreleased Sunshine Woman

Rock behemoth Led Zeppelin have shared a previously unreleased song called Sunshine Woman – and you can listen to it right here.

The track features on forthcoming new album The Complete BBC Sessions, which is set for release on September 16.

Recorded in a session in March 1969 in London, Sunshine Woman was previously only available as a bootleg.

The song is one of eight unheard recordings to feature on The Complete BBC Sessions.

According to Atlantic, the band’s label, the original BBC tapes were lost, but a private recording surfaced in the late 90s.

Fans have known about Sunshine Woman for many years, but it’s never been properly released until now.

The Complete BBC Sessions is a remastered version of 1997’s BBC Sessions album, featuring additional tracks.

The other previously unreleased songs featured on The Complete BBC Sessions include two new versions of Communication Breakdown, Dazed And Confused and You Shook Me.

Speaking to music magazine Mojo recently, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page said that, while it’s the best version of the track that’s available, “there’s no point pretending it wasn’t recorded off the radio”.
