Scots pop star Paolo Nutini has been arrested for drink driving, according to reports.
The Paisley-born singer, who headlined Edinburgh’s Concert In The Gardens in December, was allegedly pulled over by police and charged with road traffic offences on Tuesday night (February 21).
It is alleged 30-year-old Nutini was over the legal limit when tested for alcohol in his home town of Paisley.
A police spokeswoman told The Daily Record: “We can confirm that a 30-year-old man was arrested in Paisley on Tuesday in connection with alleged road traffic offences.
“A full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”
Nutini, whose hits including Jenny Don’t Be Hasty and New Shoes, was released on an undertaking to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
