Russell Brand to visit Edinburgh on Re:Birth Tour

Controversial comedian Russell Brand is returning to the stage with a new stand-up tour later this year, and will visit Edinburgh’s Playhouse on October 3.

The Re:Birth Tour will begin at Cambridge’s Corn Exchange on April 4 and visit cities including London, Birmingham, Leeds, Cardiff and Aberdeen between April 2017 and November 2018.

Talking about the tour, the 41-year-old said, “How do we make sense of the madness of our lives once we become parents? What am I going to tell my daughter about conformity and responsibility? What happens if she grows up to be like me or, worse, date someone like me?”

Tickets go on sale February 3, 9am for Irish dates and 10am for UK shows.
