An album by indie band Viola Beach, who were tragically killed in a car crash in Sweden in February, will be released next month. The young Warrington outfit, who had been due to open for Blossoms at Edinburgh’s Liquid Room in March before the horror accident, had been widely tipped for a bright future. Viola Beach killed in Sweden car crash

Viola Beach, the hotly-tipped young indie band who were due to open for Blossoms at Edinburgh’s Liquid Room in March, have died in a car crash in Sweden, the Foreign Office has said. It is understood all four members of the band – Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe and Jack Dakin – and their manager, Craig Tarry, died in the accident, which happened on Saturday near the Swedish capital Stockholm.
