Van Morrison announces new album and tour

Van Morrison is releasing a brand new album ahead of his upcoming UK tour, which brings him to the Edinburgh Playhouse on November 13.

Keep Me Singing will be the 70-year-old legend’s 36th studio album to date, and features 12 original songs and includes a Blues cover.

The Belfast-born singer’s lead single, Too Late, will be released on the same day as the album, on September 30.

The final song on the 13-track album, Caledonia Swing, is an instrumental featuring Morrison on saxophone and piano.

And for the track Every Time I See A River he collaborated with celebrated songwriter Don Black.

Following the album’s release, the Northern Irishman is embarking on a seven-date tour, beginning at Bluesfest 2016 at London’s O2 on October 20th.

He’ll then be performing in Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham, Glasgow and, of course, Edinburgh. See full tour dates below.
