Watch the animated video for Muse’s new single Aftermath

Muse have unveiled a brand new animated video for their single Aftermath – and you can watch it right here.

The track is taken from the space rockers’ latest album, Drones, and the video features a flipbook-style clip telling the story of a soldier who has parted ways with his family.

Drones was released in June 2015, the band’s seventh album to date. It was their fifth UK No.1 album.

Muse played a sell-out gig at Edinburgh’s Meadowbank Stadium in August 2006.  The band were supported on the night by My Chemical Romance.

The multi-million-selling band are set to perform at this year’s Glastonbury festival. They will headline the Friday night slot, while chart-topper Adele will headline on the Saturday.

The Hello hitmaker has admitted she’s nervous about playing Glasto for the first time, and Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has invited her to join his band on stage to take the pressure off.

“The best thing for her to do would be to come the night before, watch us and come on and sing a song with us,” Bellamy said recently. “That will take the pressure off, that will be a no pressure moment.”

The singer also said if Adele doesn’t fancy that, she should “at least just watch a few acts and get the feel for the stage”.

“A lot of people, if they are nervous, they will just lock themselves away and then the first time they see it (the stage) is when they go on and you can really brick it.”

Despite this being their third time headlining Glasto, Bellamy admits he still gets nervous.

“It’s a massive deal, it’s huge, I think we are the first band to have headlined all three nights now so excited about that,” he said.

“You can never get used to that, it’s so huge and it’s like an overwhelming feeling when you see that number of people.”
